Apple blossom

I adore walking early on spring mornings. The air is fresh and crisp. The world is full of promise. Anything and everything seems possible. It’s gorgeous and glorious.

Last year, when I cared for my mom in her rural home, I treasured getting up at dawn in spring and summer for a bit of alone time.

I would sneak out of the house while Mom was still asleep (and before Caroline arrived to share the care-giving responsibilities), and take pictures of the beauty I found around me. Continue reading
